Hello there!

I am a queer, genderqueer, neurodivergent, white settler living and working on the unceded, ancestral, and traditional territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), S’ólh Téméxw (Stó:lō), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. I use she/her/hers pronouns.

I have always felt a strong sense of curiosity to understand myself, other people, and our world, including acknowledging both the internal and external complexities of being a human. Although it can be messy and sometimes scary to do, I have always been drawn to look inward, dig deeper, and explore what has happened in the past, what is happening now, and asking how do I want to be and feel different with myself and others.

In my own process of counselling and inner healing work, along with being a Counsellor alongside others in their own inner journeys, I am regularly in awe of our capacities as humans to embody compassion, curiosity, nurturance, love, and connection, both for ourselves and others. I know firsthand the ways that many experiences in life can eclipse those capacities, but I also have come to see and experience how those capacities are always there within us. That is what I love about counselling - is having the space to (re)discover those capacities and continue to grow and change with the support of the caring therapeutic relationship.

I am a Registered Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers (Registration #12304) and the BC Association of Social Workers.  I have completed a Master of Social Work from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Social Work from McGill University.

In other parts of my life outside of counselling, I love zooming around on my bike, playing instruments with my kid, taking deep breaths in nature, and striving to keep all my plants alive!
